I Hate the Man in My Basement is Dustin Cook's first feature film as writer and director premiering at the 2017 Newport Beach Film Festival to delighted audiences and reviews. His short film Mother and Brother played over 20 festivals in 2015 and 2016, taking home several awards and earning critical praise in the US and Europe. In addition to directing, Dustin was also a producer on the 2017 feature film Flock of Four, which follow the adventure of four boys through the Los Angeles jazz scene in 1959 in search of jazz legend Pope Dixon. Dustin also worked on the 2015 SXSW film The Frontier, currently available on Netflix.
Dustin is currently developing several feature films and television shows in addition to documentary work.
